Anthem: Passing of the Claimant, 1994
Anthem written in the summer of 1994 by Rodney Sharman in honour of Toby Jackman's 70th birthday, the text being TJ's favourite poem, written by Chidiock Tichborne, a young English Catholic who was hanged in the Tower on 20 September 1586 for having been implicated in the Babington Plot to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I and put Mary Queen of Scots on the throne. He wrote the poem on the night before he was executed.
Anthony Summers, fundraiser, 1997 - 2002
Agreement between the Master and Fellows of the Association of St Edmund's College, and Anthony Gilbert Summers, 13 November 1997 (d. 2001), concerning services to be provided by Summers as a professional fundraiser. Also correspondence, 2001-2, with various concerning claims by Summers' widow, Mrs C H Summers, for commission to be paid to Summers' estate in the event of a donation to the College from Conrad Black.
